Greg was born and raised in Freeport, graduating from Freeport High School in 1979. He has been married to his wife Vicki for 34 years and they have three children and four grandsons.
Greg served as a Freeport Police Officer from 1987 to 1994, serving on the ERT team, Honor Guard and as a field training officer. For the past 23 years he has been employed as a journeyman electrician with the IBEW Local 364, Rockford. Greg worked overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan from 2011 to 2013 in support of our troops.
Greg also served on the City of Freeport Water and Sewer commission from 2008 to 2011.
Greg is honored to be able to serve as an alderman and is excited to help the Council move Freeport forward. “Freeport is my home and I look forward to helping to make it better for all.”
