Landscape Waste Program

Gill’s Freeport Disposal offers Landscape Waste disposal, beginning April 11, 2024. Landscape Waste disposal costs a total of $235 for the April to November landscape disposal season. Please call Gill’s Freeport Disposal at 815.233.5644 for more details.

Timber Industries

The wood lot at 2133 S. Walnut Avenue, otherwise known as Timber Industries, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to the public. The following is accepted at drop-off:

  • Small to medium woody debris, branches, and cut up logs

The lot does NOT accept the following:

  • Grass clippings, piles of leaves (bagged and unbagged), soil, and rocks

Freeport Transfer Station (phone 815-233-0742) is open the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 2:00 pm
  • First Saturday in Month 8:00 am to 11:00 am
