Linda was born and raised in Lanark, IL, graduating from Lanark High School in 1974. She has been married to her husband Doug for 50 years and they have four daughters and 14 grandchildren.
After graduation, Linda moved to Freeport and attended HCC and Freeport Memorial School of Nursing. She then began her almost 50 year career as a registered nurse. During her career, she worked as a floor nurse, floor supervisor, care plan coordinator, rehab nurse, nurse aide instructor, ADON and DON. She retired in 2023 from Parkview Home.
Linda is honored to serve as Alderwoman for Ward 2. Her desires are to build Freeport by helping to build strong families, improving housing, building relationships, improving communication and improving safety.
