Junior Police Academy Begins June 3

FREEPORT, IL – The Freeport Police Department is hosting a Junior Police Academy for individuals ages 14 to 20 years old. Classes will begin at the Freeport Police Department on Wednesday, June 3. The group will meet each Wednesday from 5 – 7 PM. Graduation will be held August 5.

Cadets will learn from K9 demonstrations, mock crime scenes, traffic stop scenarios, processing evidence, fingerprinting, 9-1-1 dispatch, team building challenges, Emergency Response Team demonstrations and more.
