Memorial Day Parade Brings Hundreds to Downtown Freeport

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE BRINGS HUNDREDS TO DOWNTOWN FREEPORT

Hundreds of Freeport citizens attended the first Memorial Day Parade in several years. City officials, the Freeport Police Department, and the Freeport Fire Department, and many other Freeport area organizations participated in the parade. The last Memorial Day Parade to take place in Freeport occurred before the 2020 pandemic.

The City of Freeport extends its thanks to the parade organizers, public safety workers, and onlookers for making the Memorial Day Parade a wonderful event for the Freeport community.
