W. Stephenson Street to Close Near Park Boulevard Intersection

FREEPORT, IL — W. Stephenson Street will experience road closures from Kiwanis Drive to Harlem Avenue beginning Tuesday, July 29. These road closures will allow Kelsey Excavating crews to perform necessary water and road infrastructure work.

Stephenson Street from Greenfield Drive to Sunset Avenue will be closed to all traffic during this closure. The other sections of Stephenson Street from Kiwanis Drive and to Harlem Avenue will be closed to Semi traffic, but will remain open to local traffic only. Park Boulevard from Galena Avenue to Empire Street will also be closed to all Semi traffic, but will remain open to local traffic only.

As part of a separate project, Greenfield Drive is closed to all traffic from Stephenson Street to Laurel Street.
