Lead Service Line Replacement Project – Phase 2

Phase 2 of the Lead Service Line Replacement Project is currently out for bids with approximately 750 residential services slated to be replaced in 2022. Existing lead service lines will be replaced from the water main to the property line in most cases. Bids will be opened April 29, 2022.

The Lead Service Replacement Program is funded through 100% forgivable loan funds from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA).
