Timber Industries – 2133 S. Walnut Avenue

The wood lot at 2133 S. Walnut Avenue, otherwise known as Timber Industries, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to the public. The following is accepted at drop-off:

• Small to medium woody debris, branches, and cut up logs

The lot does NOT accept the following:

• Grass clippings, piles of leaves (bagged and unbagged), soil, and rocks

For residents looking for ways to dispose of their yard waste, Freeport has a couple options. Residents can purchase a yard waste toter from Gill’s Freeport Disposal. They can also mulch or spread waste like grass clippings back onto their own lawn. The City does not provide drive-by pickup of such waste.
